Agent modeling
Describe what to build or change in your connected Show3D scene.
Supported agent: Codex
Show3D currently supports Codex through the Show3D plugin and MCP connection. Complete the setup guide before asking Codex to work on a scene. Other agents are not currently listed as supported.
Create, inspect, revise
Keep the Show3D editor open. Ask Codex to identify and connect to the intended scene, then give one clear modeling task. Review the result in Show3D before requesting the next change.
- Name the object or part to change and describe the intended result.
- State the important constraints, such as which parts must stay in place.
- Inspect geometry and materials. Continue with another instruction or adjust the result by hand.
Example: revise one part
Identify the part, state the change, and specify what should stay the same. Compare the result from another view before continuing.

Keep control of the scene
Agent requests depend on the available editor operations and the current selection. A request does not guarantee the intended result. Avoid editing the same part by hand while an agent action is running; inspect the result before continuing.
When to generate an asset
Use text-to-3D or image-to-3D to create a starting asset. Use agent or hands-on modeling to develop a scene and make deliberate changes. Inspect generated geometry before choosing an editing operation.
